This morning I read newspaper in the Metro when I was on my way to the office. It was dutch newspaper. Even though I can not speak dutch pretty well, I always try to read the dutch newspaper just to improve my dutch. And yes true, the easiest part to read is the HOROSCOPE. I don’t believe in horoscope, but it is easy to read and it usually contains new words which will add my vocabulary on it. Eventually.
So, I read the horoscope and there is a really buggy expression that I could not get it off from my mind. “Verkoop het huid niet voor de beer geschoten is” I tried to understand it literally which means “Don’t sell the skin of the bear before the bear is being shot til death“. At first, I thought that “OMG, it is cruel…how come people sell the skin of the bear when they are still alive, that is really not animality”, (humanity is for human so animality is for animal 
)
But then I figured it that it means that:
We should not do something without deep thinking. Everything should be well-thought. Otherwise, we will pay the consequences.
So, next time when you want to decide something, please please please remember this phrase “Verkoop het huid niet voor de beer geschoten is”. It is also really suitable for me. I mostly take quick decision without think it thoroughly which make me “sometimes” regret for all of those decision I have made.
